If you are looking for another place to meet with knitters, spinners , tatters, crocheters or any other craft. This group apparently meets every Saturday 1-5 at the Broadway Café. You can find this group on Raverly under the Salem Areea Ravelers group.

Laura Wagman is collecting an assortment of unused items, buttons, fabric, yarns, art and craft supplies. She is using these items to teach some young crafters.
You can contact Laura directly or bring the items to the next guild meeting.

A gauntlet has been thrown between Helga and Robin. The challenge is using the same yarns they are to develop a “Helga” creation but neither will see what the other is doing. The finished garment will be revealed at the Christmas pot luck. You can participate by bringing in some novelty yarn for them to incorporate in their garment.

Next Month – Our speaker is Gail Smith of Windsor Farms Rabbitry in Silverton. Gail’s yarn was featured on the cover photo of Piecework Magazine last month. It was used in the Russian Winter Shawl.
